Selection of snapshots of paintings from a sketchbook

A little bit about me:

I’m currently based in Sutton, greater London. At aged 7, I decided that I wanted to be the person who does the drawings on cereal packets for a job (I still haven’t achieved that specific goal).

Since graduating from Falmouth University in 2014, I’ve worked for over 10 years with a range of clients on licensing, children’s publishing and editorial projects. I especially love map-making, hand lettering and food illustration.

I always begin work with a big A3 sketchbook and a 5B pencil. Usually I experiment with gouache, ink and colouring pencils before collaging everything together digitally. Unfortunately I’m prone to making a mess, and my desk is usually a precarious balancing act of paint pots and sketchbooks. When I’m not drawing things, I mostly enjoy reading and eating cheese.
