The Process.

Usually the process from initial quotation to printed product is around 8-12 weeks, but I do my best to work around your deadlines if I can! Wedding stationery can be booked in over a year in advance, so it’s never too early to enquire.

  • Once you’ve got in touch, I’ll get back to you with a quote and go through any ideas or questions you have. If you would like to go ahead, I’ll book you in. To secure this I ask for a 25% deposit, and then the creativity begins!

  • We discuss themes, colours & wording for your stationery. Often this is done over email as it allows me to keep track of everything we’ve shared. I’ll also look at any Pinterest boards or visual inspiration that you have.

From this I’ll create a small selection of initial concepts, or explore one clear vision if we already have a strong direction.

  • Based on your feedback, I’ll create a more developed version of the design for you. At this point there may be a few rounds of changes as we perfect the finer details!

  • A final proof will be sent over for you to approve. Although at this stage I will have carefully looked over the wording and design, it’s always a great idea to get a friend or family member to read everything too.

  • Once you are happy I will get your artwork printed and assembled! I like to allow 3-4 weeks for this stage. Postage will be Royal Mail tracked or special delivery, depending on the nature of the order. I will send you the remaining invoice once I have checked the printed designs and am completely happy with the quality.

Please note that if I am designing both ‘Before the Day’ and ‘On the Day’ stationery for you, payment will usually be broken down into two smaller installments, one after each stage is completed.
